Introit
The law of the Lord is unspotted, converting souls; the testimony of the Lord is faithful, giving wisdom to little ones. Psalm. The heavens shew forth the glory of God; and the firmament declareth the work of his hands.
Collect of the Day
Grant, we beseech thee, O Lord, a salutary effect to our fasts: that the chastisement of the flesh, which we have taken upon us, may promote the vigour of our souls. Through, &c.
