Also today: St. Peter and St. Paul, Apostles Red β€” Ezekiel 34:11-16 Β· Psalm 87 Β· Acts 15:1-12 Β· Mark 8:27-35

Introit. I KNOW Whom I have believed: and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. There is laid up for me a crown of righteousness: which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me. Psalm. O Lord, Thou hast searched me and known me: Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising.

O ALMIGHTY God, Who by Thy Son Jesus Christ, didst give to Thy holy Apostles many excellent gifts, and commandedst them earnestly to feed Thy flock: Make, we beseech Thee, all Pastors diligently to preach Thy holy Word, and the people obediently to follow the same, that they may receive the crown of everlasting glory; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee and the Holy Ghost, ever One God, world without end. Amen.

Gradual. THEIR sound went forth through all the earth: and their words to the end of the world. V. The heavens declare the glory of God: and the firmament showeth His handiwork. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. V. I have chosen you out of the world: that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain. Hallelujah.
